[R] Free us Jesus.

From rashly entering the clergy.
From the sin of sacrilege.
From the spirit of incontinence.
From sordid self-interest.
From every lapse into simony.
From the unworthy administration of the Church’s treasures.
From the love of the world and its vanities.
From the unworthy celebration of Your Mysteries.
Through Your eternal priesthood.
Through the holy anointing by which GOD the Father made You a priest.
Through Your priestly spirit.
Through the ministry by which You glorified Your Father on this earth.
Through the bloody immolation of Yourself made once and for all on the Cross.
Through that same sacrifice daily renewed on the altar.
Through the divine power that You exercise invisibly in Your priests.

[R] Hear us, we beseech You.

That You may kindly maintain the whole priestly order in holy religion.
That You may kindly provide Your people with pastors after Your own Heart.
That You may kindly fill them with the spirit of Your priesthood.
That the lips of Your priests may be repositories of knowledge.
That You may kindly send faithful workers into Your harvest.
That You may kindly increase the faithful dispensers of Your mysteries.
That You may, kindly grant them persevering obedience to Your will.
That You may kindly give them gentleness in their ministry, skill in their actions, and constancy in their prayer.
That through them. You may kindly promote the veneration of the Blessed Sacrament all over the world.
That You may kindly receive into Your joy those who have served You well.

Lamb of GOD, Who takest away the sins of the world, Spare us, O Lord.
Lamb of GOD, Who takest away the sins of the world, Graciously hear us, O Lord.
Lamb of GOD, Who takest away the sins of the world, Have mercy on us, O Lord.

JESUS, our Priest, Hear us.
JESUS, our Priest, Heed our prayers.

Let us pray.

O GOD, sanctifier and guardian of Your Church, stir up in her, through Your Spirit, suitable and faithful dispensers of the holy Mysteries, so that by their ministry and example, the Christian people may be guided in the path of salvation with Your protection. Through Christ, our Lord. Amen.

GOD, Who, when the disciples ministered to the Lord and fasted, ordered that Saul and Barnabas be set aside for the work to which You called them, be with Your Church as she prays now, and You, who know the hearts of all of us, show those whom You have chosen for Your ministry. Through Christ, Our Lord. Amen.
