Blood of Christ, flowing from the crowning with thorns.
Blood of Christ, poured out on the Cross.
Blood of Christ, price of our Salvation.
Blood of Christ, without which there is no Redemption.
Blood of Christ, which quenches the thirst of souls and purifies them in the Holy Eucharist.

You have redeemed us, O Lord in Your Blood. And have made us a kingdom for our GOD.

Let us pray:

Almighty and Eternal GOD, Who destined Your Only Begotten Son to be Redeemer of the world and willed to be appeased by His Precious Blood, grant us the grace of venerating the price of our Redemption and of discovering in It the virtue It contains - the defense against the evils of the present life - in such a way that we may eternally enjoy Its fruits in Heaven, through the same Christ, Our Lord.
