Our main Charism

The aim of the Community of the Beatitudes is to be Love in the Heart of the Catholic Church.

Because of this, our first priority is to fully give ourselves to God through prayer and community life. It is unique in the Church that families, single people, consecrated brothers and sisters, widows, and priests can live together in the same house searching together for the Kingdom of God. We like to say that this is a permanent miracle of God. We also believe it is a special gift of God for us the Community, and for the whole Church. This living together with God is a Beatitude, a real joy, and a place to radically follow Jesus.

Primarily our focus is contemplation and community life. Along with this, we serve the Lord by our work, our mission of evangelisation, our outreach to the poor and dedication the Church. Our apostolates overflow from this living of continuous prayer and brotherly love.
