I am happy and honoured to inform you that the Community of the Beatitude, present in your diocese in Macau has just been recognized by the Pontifical Counsel for the laity as an International Private Association of the Faithful of Pontifical Right with Juridical Personality.

The Community has first being recognized as “Pieuse Union” in 1979 by Cardinal Robert Coffy, the archbishop of Albi (France) then. Later in 1994, his successor Mgr Roger Meindre recognized the Community as a Private Association of the Faithful of Diocese Right. The Pontifical decree was handed out by His Eminence Cardinal Stafford on 31 January 2003 in Rome. We shall later give you a copy of this decree through the local responsible of the Community.
